Balloon Boy - On a Journey to the Moon

Balloon Boy is a single-player platformer where you jump from balloon to balloon and climb higher and higher into the sky.

The balloons slowly rise into the sky, carrying Balloon Boy with them. But be careful - the balloons don't last forever. The further you get, the faster they burst, so you have to react quickly and plan your jumps carefully. The color of each balloon also gives you an indication of how long it will last.

And watch out for birds – they might pop a balloon at the worst possible moment.

How high can you go? Maybe even all the way to the moon? 🌙

• 50 challenging levels
• 3 difficulty modes (two in the "old" version)

• the session duration increases with each level
• also requires patience and skill 

How to play:

• Arrow (or W, A, D) keys to jump and move left and right
• Esc or M to access the menu during the game (this will pause the game)
  
• Also via touchscreen in the "old" version

Development:

This was the first game I ever developed, originally created in 2023 using Godot Engine 3. The (V2) version was built using the Godot Engine 4 and is currently available only for Linux and Windows.
