Balloon Boy - On the journey to the Moon

Balloon Boy is a single-player platformer where you jump from balloon to balloon and climb higher and higher into the sky.

The balloons slowly rise into the sky, carrying Balloon Boy with them. But be careful - the balloons don't last forever. The further you get, the faster they burst, so you have to react quickly and plan your jumps carefully. The color of each balloon also gives you an indication of how long it will last.

And watch out for birds – they might pop a balloon at the worst possible moment.

How high can you go? Maybe even all the way to the moon? 🌙

Development:

This was the first game I ever developed, originally created in 2023 using Godot Engine 3.

The Linux and Windows versions are slightly different from the Android version, as I used the Godot 3 engine display mode “viewport” instead of "2D" to give the game a more retro / pixel art look.
